On November 21, 2016, Hal M. Lucas became a Director of Friends of Miami Animals Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of Friends of Miami Animals is to save and improve the lives of animals in Miami-Dade County, Florida, through education, advocacy, financial support, and increased awareness.
